In the bio-pharmaceutical R&D and production campus located in Hangzhou, VAL optimized the location of the buildings to establish an open space on the central axis, creating a central landscape belt connecting to the waterfront greenway on the north side. Taking into account the production process, VAL creates an identity of the campus and the company on the main street, to enhance the sense of place and value of the campus.
