姜宇捷先生是VAL的創始合夥人與主持建築師。VAL (Voice Architecture Lab) 是一家以研究為基礎的跨國設計事務所，致力於創新與實踐，應對城市與環境挑戰，重建人、自然與空間的永續關係。VAL的核心理念源於其名稱中的“Voice”，建築師不僅是設計與規劃方案的提供者，更應該成為開發與使用單位的理解者，深刻探討背後的意涵與需求，用有限的資源創造有意義的結果。

在他的建築生涯中，姜先生持續參與跨地域與文化的項目，包括科研類型建築、生物製藥與企業總部、都市更新與改造以及居住與旅館等類型，特別專注於在複雜條件下探索創新建築方案。他相信建築不僅是一種功能性解決方案，更是人類與環境連結的橋樑。他在設計中力求平衡使用者需求與環境影響，應對日益複雜的城市與氣候挑戰。

作為設計社群的推動者，姜先生參與了AIA海外分會的成立，致力於促進跨領域合作與思想交流。他相信設計的力量在於促進對話，打破邊界，為行業注入創新動力。

未來，VAL將持續結合創新科技與系統化設計，利用BIM與AI技術模擬和優化建築設計，探索宜居且永續的環境，實現人與自然的和諧共存。在溪頭自然教育園區的實踐中，VAL通過資源高效利用與合理技術應用，打造了結合生態保育與理念傳播的自然旅遊空間。這一實踐為自然教育的空間體驗提供了新思路，也為未來的建築與環境設計帶來了更多可能性。VAL將繼續以務實的態度推動創新設計，為客戶提供平衡美學與功能的解決方案，積極應對建築設計領域的挑戰。

Mr. Chiang Yuchieh is the founding partner and principal architect of VAL (Voice Architecture Lab), an international design firm rooted in research and dedicated to innovation and practice. VAL addresses urban and environmental challenges by reestablishing sustainable connections between people, nature, and space. The core philosophy of VAL lies in its name, "Voice," emphasizing that architects should not only provide design and planning solutions but also empathetic interpreters of the needs and meanings behind projects, striving to create meaningful outcomes with limited resources.

Throughout his architectural career, Mr. Chiang has been actively involved in cross-regional and cross-cultural projects, including research facilities, pharmaceutical and corporate headquarters, urban renewal and regeneration, as well as residential and hospitality developments. He specializes in exploring innovative architectural solutions under complex conditions, believing that architecture is not merely a functional solution but a bridge connecting humanity and the environment. In his work, he seeks to balance user needs with environmental impact, addressing the increasing complexities of urban and climate challenges.

As a proactive advocate for the design community, Mr. Chiang has played a key role in establishing overseas chapters of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and has been dedicated to fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration and intellectual exchange. He believes that design has the power to inspire dialogue, break boundaries, and inject innovation into the industry.

Looking ahead, VAL will continue to integrate innovative technologies with systematic design, utilizing BIM and AI tools to simulate and optimize architectural solutions, and to explore sustainable and livable environments that harmonize humanity and nature. In the Xitou Nature Education Park project, VAL demonstrated its commitment to efficient resource utilization and appropriate technology applications, creating a natural tourism space that merges ecological conservation with the dissemination of meaningful ideas. This project provides new perspectives for nature education spaces and expands possibilities for future architectural and environmental design. VAL remains committed to advancing innovative design with a pragmatic approach, offering clients solutions that balance aesthetics and functionality while actively addressing the challenges of the architectural field.
